Lights go out on The One Show

"We are having a little bit of bother with our lighting desk at the moment" (April 2010)

All the lights (including those fancy ones by the window) went out on The One Show at about 19:05 but some lights came on about 5 seconds later.

In other news, they are now publishing their email address theoneshow@bbc.co.uk, rather than their website, www.bbc.co.uk/theoneshow . I guess this is to do with the fact that their website has been scaled back and is now part of the programmes website.

also the BBC website guidelines explicitly forbid asking to "email from our website." Perhaps someone from Future Media gave them a ticking off.

If that is the case could they also remind (largely BBC Radio) that it is also against BBC website guidelines to list web addresses beyond the first / e.g. www.bbc.co.uk/radio4/today

A few months back the skeleton desk wasn't on and when they cut to a live on the plasma someone came in and pressed a button on it and it cycled though red, blue, green, pink until it finally reached white.

I remember that, the desk in the studio was ok this time though. Here is what happened...
