Does the early 80's version read 'BBC Wales', rather than 'BBC 1 Wales' ?

Back in 1973, didn't the BBC have regional symbols during peak time, so shouldn't us in the Midlands got a rotating 'M' before LOM instead of the globe?

Wouldn't the globe have only gone out in the London & SE region region?

Which was the most 'weird' looking globe before LOM?

Wales or Network's?

Until late 1982, the ident was "BBC CYMRU WALES" (the "Cymru Wales" being stacked horizontally against the BBC.)
