Sam wakes up, it was all a dream. The end.

I presume BBC Wales is the one to watch for a good intro. They seem to put a little bit more effort in.

Whereas BBC Scotland give the impression of going for a fag and letting the network do their job for an hour.

BTW does anyone know if the LOM theme is available to download/buy at all, great piece of music

This is my theory:

I think it will be Sam who dies (gets shot in this robbery thing?). When 1973 Sam dies, then 2006 Sam will wake up. I'm sure Nelson the barman has something to do with Sam's future too (if not any of the other characters in 1973)

So far it's certainly had a good set of twists, making the series ending hard to accurately predict.

It has been very good, see they can do decent stuff on BBC 1, let's hope the spin off does just as well

We don't know for sure if any of them died. And we didn't see what happened to Anne either... stuff for the spin-off I should think!

I presume "Nelson" was the person singing Over the Rainbow ?

Well his mother didn't look much like Joanne Froggatt after all! Wink

My theory was the wrong way round... he died in 2006 instead!

Good twist, 1973 was "heaven"

Be interesting to see how they'll link up to the spin off now.

Actually was 2006 a dream I'm confused Confused Laughing

I think the ending can be understood in many different ways. Thats why it was such an amazing, and superb ending. I look forward to the spin off, but I understand that Sam wont be in the new series.

If he was actualy in 1973, how come he knew so much about the future?

Heaven?! They way I understood it was he woke up from his coma, back into 2006. He decided he preferred 1973 after all, so he jumped to his death from the tower block in 2006, as a way of going back to 1973.

I think he was in a coma, and so when he woke up in 2006 that was real. But then jumping off the building at the end took him back into a coma. Or I could be wrong.
