EXCLUSIVE: CAMBERWICK DREAM. Life on Mars cops turn into puppets from 70s kids' TV

THINGS just go from bad to worse for TV time travel cop Sam Tyler. First the modern-day officer has a car crash putting him in a coma which sees him struggling with life as a detective in 1973. Then in the latest series of BBC1 drama Life on Mars he finds he and his 70s boss Gene Hunt (Phil Glenister) have become characters in cult kids' favourite Camberwick Green... A clip of the scene is already a hit on the internet.

Ignoring the fact that this "exclusive" was reported in the Manchester Evening News last year, does anyone know where we can watch the clip. I've tried all the usual suspects but to no avail.

It is supposed to be the last series of LOM , the coming run-- that's what's been reported in the papers IIRC Confused .

Does Sam Tyler get back to the present day or does he stayed in 1973--anyone got any spoilers Cool ?

And if they have, please use the spoiler tag! I'm really looking forward to the new series and don't want to read any!

Media Guardian posted:
In keeping with the retro theme of the series, all the advertising material will carry the 70s BBC1 "Globe" branding.
Anna Skelton, marketing manager for BBC1 and Drama, said the show provided a great opportunity to "develop a 360 degree campaign across all mediums, while capitalising on the nostalgia of the BBC1 colour branding from the 70s".

A wonderful idea to use the old branding - I hope that extends to the actual TV trailers too. And to cap it all off, they could show:

before the episode. Well, it is in keeping with the circle theme Wink

They have shot 2 different endings, is what I've heard.

Found this on another forum. Don't know where exactly it's from, but I don't think it's a fake - don't think anyone could be bothered putting in the fold lines.

I believe so. All the press I've read about it, says it is the final series and that Sam Tyler's situation will be resolved (I don't know how though Confused! )

it is the final series as they didn't want it to get stale. There's only so much you can do with a guy in a coma thinking he's in 1973
