my guess is the wpc is really his wife and the girl in the test card is his daughter,
that's a completely educated guess so don't give me any grief if I'm completely wrong.
the clown is huge because he is going on his memories as a three year old who probably would make the clown big.
i was 3 in 73 and the only thing i can remember is the cars

Apparently because the greedy copyright owners wanted something like £250 a minute for its use. But the original would have been restrictive given Monday's fantasy sequence.

Superb show. Will definitely be tuning in next week.
Though did anyone notice that Test Card F was clearly a recreation, featuring someone else in place of Carole Hersee? Not sure why, it's one of the easiest things to find...unless perhaps it's somehow tied in to a future episode. Or something.

noticed some of the terrace houses where they filmed have velux windows in the lofts, did they have velux loft windows in 1973?, in fact did people have loft extensions?
here's a thought, if sam saw himself as a boy going to the football match and his younger self looked back at him wouldn't he have remembered that.
lets face it, wouldn't you find it a bit odd if as an adult you looked like some man you remember seeing at a football match when you were a child.
last night's episode was about football violence by the way,
last week's was about corrupt coppers and criminal contacts one of whom uses a woman to seduce sam after he shows a dislike for his illegal activities, sam tries to help her escape but she gets murdered by said criminal boss, gene finally bows to sam's disapproval and the criminal boss is arrested.
continuity query: this may be a bit crude but the criminal boss is arrested in the middle of a visit from your friendly neighbourhood rent boy (he's gay) and says to gene and sam 'how dare you come in here' when they burst into his office, gene quips that he should have said that to the rent boy.
would 'come' as a euphemism for ejaculation have been used in the 1970s?
