Hey everyone
I would like to post a link about the TV Program Less than Perfect here
It is currently airing on ABC1 and Paramount Comedy 1
If you like this sitcom, please sign the petition to get it released on dvd
The link is:
Less than Perfect DVD release
Please help to get this quirky comedy a dvd release
Touchstone Television rarely release their programs on dvd, and it is such a shame as so many great programs never see the light of day on DVD
If you can, mention something about a UK release as well. I did not start the petition, I don't know who did, but it was already up to 68 names when I came across it, so I thought there was no point starting a new one just for the UK.

Thank you so much for your time

8 Simple Rules is is it? The John Ritter series was the best of those.

8 Simple Rules (the complete first season) is only due out in Region 1, whether it'll come to Region 2 we'll have to see.

But anyway the John Ritter episodes are very good, the show was so much worse off after him. The difference between the Ritter episodes and the post-Ritter episodes is quite noticeable, its not got the same dynamics as the first season.

Less Than Perfect, on the other hand, I really don't rate that much. I guess I just prefer the American sitcoms that are family orientated, hence why I liked 8 Simple Rules, Home Improvement, Rodney and The Geena Davis Show. All shows built around a family. That's just me though.

I don't think the post-Ritter episodes weren't that bad but you could see the change. John Ritter was great in the role especially when he always contridicted his rants or rules by the end of the episode.

Less Than Perfect I never liked, I still wonder to this day, after watching an episode, why Andy Dick is so "controversial" (according to the trailers for it when it was new/had been on air for six months).

He's not controversial because he appears on Less Than Perfect. Its one of his sanest roles.

In 2005 Dick stirred controversy in Edmonton, Alberta, at Yuk Yuk's comedy club when he dropped his pants and exposed his genitals to the audience. Apparently he was drunk at the time.

As well as being bi-sexual (which isn't a crime in itself), he also allegedly sniffs cocaine, appears on American talk shows drunk (on occasion in a straitjacket) and could be considered racist, though whether its the alcohol talking is anybody's guess.

i hope 8 simple rules gets a region 2 dvd release
but obviously i would like to see less than perfect more
despite not being family orientated
it just has a dynamic between the cast that ive never seen in any other program
as for andy dick... hes a controversial fellow, but not in less than perfect
and i dont think they advertised it as that
