I hear there is a new TV show coming out called 'TV Now and Then' being hosted by Les Dennis - it looks like it is going to be about classic tv shows - how cool!

You can get free tickets from www.tvrecordings.com

I can't work out whether you work for tvrecordings.com or work for the production companies of the programmes you tout.

In any event, your exuberance is very sweet.

Hmm - well regardless of whether this is an ad or not.....I do like the sound of this.

But Les Dennis?! Why?!

Les Dennis should further a career in acting. He was brilliant in the last series of Extras. Why go back in your career.

Very Very Very similar to the thread and posts trying to advertise the god-awful Philip Schofield show and that soon went down the pan!!!!

Bad Boy, now go back to work and try to create Television that people actually want to watch without any of this awful false advertising!

So we know he's brilliant at playing an exaggerated(?) version of himself, does that mean he's good at any other type of role? Previous to that wasn't The Russ Abbot Show the highlight of his acting career Laughing

Exactly what I was thinking. His series-stealing performance on Extras last year was hilarious and he proved he can be more then just a cheesy game show host - which is what he wanted to achieve. So why go back? Rolling Eyes

Les popped up in "The Bill" recently and he was really good in that too. So he can play other characters. I think he could be a good actor.

Funnily enough, someone (probabally the same person) registered on DS, after the show has been axed, to defend the show, said how good it was and how it would be "brursting back on our screens". In the end, we got them to admit they were connected with the show.

I wonder if anyone can connect all the shows this member has posted about to a production company.

Why do they insist on posting on such forums? It's not as if its going to make a massive difference to their viewing figures is it? Confused

Plus the kind of shows that they've been advertising are exactly the kind of shows people like us don't watch! Bring back Swap Shop is the best we can come up with Very Happy

I also remember he had a part in Brookside.
