Is anybody else slightly offended that the nation who gave her stardom and her ''dreams'' will not have the chance to experience her talents. It seems that as soon as the British public voted her as winner of the X Factor, she jetted off to the US where she is supposedly going to be a Whitney/Mariah clone. Yes, she's a brilliant artist, but I feel what she has done/made to do has been unfair on the people that created her.
If anybody doesn't realise that the X Factor isn't just some annual cash cow for Simon Cowell then pity you for those who pay out money for voting, get sucked into buying their products etc.
The same thing happened a few years back with Pop Idol. Everyone thaught the guy with the stammer would win. He didn't, but he still did much better than the guy who won in the end. Either way, both of them are flipping burgers as you read this...
what are you on about? Will Young (the winner) did far better than Gareth Gates.
in fact your post makes no sense whatsoever.
I've removed what I had written here because it might be a bit advanced for the kind of people who have the time to watch
The X Factor
Erm no, you got it wrong & have removed the original post, however the poster underneath managed to quote what you wrote first time round
Actually Will Young is still doing fairly well, Gareth Gates not so much but that's more Simon Cowell's (or whoever manages them) fault than anyone else

it wasn't only wrong Johnny, but complete nonsensical gibberish. never seen anyone edit an entire post rather than defend it though
^ ^ Well that may be your philosophy and in life it's a great philosophy. However, its as if she has turned her back on the people who voted for her as she begged for votes during the Live shows. It's a real slap in the face to those people, surely. Personally, I rarely watched the X Factor, but having read a BBC News article about her move to the US, it made me quite angry.

it's more Simon Cowell's decision than hers; i don't think she has that much of a say so in the direction of her career at the moment/
