This is great news. These have always been the most popular shows on CNBC, especially Leno, so I never understood why they cut them down to half an hour and show them outside of prime time. Nobody watches CNBC apart from these shows.
Actually, CNBC is apparently watched in banks and offices - who are, remember, its target audience - quite a bit. I say "apparently" because any banks and offices I have been in tend to show Bloomberg rather than CNBC.
CNBC Europe today got a rebrand, but there's a thread about that in the News forum.
The Tonight Show at 10pm UK time in a full 45 minute timeslot and Late Night With Conan O'Brien at 10.45pm UK time in a full 45 minute timeslot will only be happening until Thursday. From Friday onwards it will go back to the normal 11pm 30 minute timeslot for Leno and Conan will be back to weekends only.
I think it must have something to do with daylight saving time changes...?

I've posted about it on my website.
Well they didn't show either tonight unfortunately.
Lets be pleased we still see Conan and Jay on CNBC Europe.
Late Show with David Letterman has just been dropped by Diva TV after only one year on the channel.
I would love to see Jay and Conan shows back in their full uncut shows each weeknight but it seems CNBC Europe will not do that as they want to keep alot of their business news programming.
Thats understandable, they are first a business news channel, not an entertainment channel. At least we get uncut shows at weekends, that something.
I do think the condensed editions of Tonight Show are well thought out, we get to see guest interviews and musical guests mostly in full. Its only the comedy segment we miss out on weeknights, but sometimes the comedy segments on Tonight Show are a bit bland and repetitive.
At least we see the Headlines sequence on Thursday nights edited shows, even though it too is condensed.
Conan's show is great and it was nice to see Conan's show also on a condensed weeknight version a few weeks back, when CNBC dropped NBC Nightly News because of the Olympics.
Some good news for Tonight Show and Late Night fans.
Tonight Show with Jay Leno and Late Night with Conan O'Brien will continue to be at 10pm/10.45pm respectivley for next week.
Maybe this is a change CNBC Europe have made, I don't know.
But am so glad to be able to see the full uncut versions on weeknights now. It was in March 2007 that CNBC changed their schedule, hope they will understand that these shows are so popular, keep them as they are now.

Monday night, because of the market falls, they kept going with business programming. Oddly though, instead of showing Kudlow and Company live, they showed a documentary about Black Monday, 1987 before going to Squawk Australia at 11:00pm.
CNBC is first and foremost a business channel and these shows sit uneasily on a channel that boasts that it is "first in business, worldwide". So for that matter, does all the poker...but I suppose they need to get money from somewhere...
