I have been away last week and as i was traveling into London this morning about 11:00, i heard Danny Baker on BBC London 94.9FM saying how they had to travel accross london to change studios, due to a fire or firebombing in their normal studio, the same one that can be seen on LDN London News.

He said that they "bosses" had to choose the TV equipment or the radio and TV was chosen.

Does anyone have any more info on this?!?

What happened to 'Fat Danny's' TV career then?

Haven't seen him on the box for ages!

I heard this, the next programme was back in LDN so the fire was only minor - possibly just a piece of studio equipment or an office elsewher in the building.

The 'Firebombing' reference was Dan joking that the station had been firebombed by 5 Live so that they could get the frequency! I think he was talking it up into far more than it actually was
