Possibly a first from me regarding shows on C4, but The Law of the Playground - rubbish!

And they are going to stretch this out over 6 or 7 weeks!

Lemme guess, you hated that thing on BBC Four about television last night and you concider watching the housemates on Big Brother sleaping during the morning top class entertainment.

It was alright, but needs more David Mitchell and less JLC. Preferably none.

I do respect you here, Brekkie. But why the hell have you started a thread if you hated the subject? I thought the show was fantastic, especially Alan Carr's line:
''...if you combed your hair or looked in the mirror you'd be told...''What's this a fashion show?....no, just the basics of being a human being.'' LOL. Great new show from Channel 4, one of my favourite UK teelevision channels.

I started the thread because the programme was a huge let down for me - I expected it to be much better.

By the time of the first break I just thought all areas appeared to have been covered, and couldn't work out what they'd talk about in part two, never mind episodes 2-7!

I just found most the anicdotes (sp?) quite boring and obvious really - and all the good ones had been shown on the trailers anyhow!

And the main reason I started this thread because I wanted to know what other people thought of it! That is the idea of this place, well, kind of!

Above all, this programme is out of place on Friday primetime especially sandwiched between Big Brother. You need something in the middle to keep the monmentum up through the evening and sadly this was all too predictable what they were coming out with. It all seemed to be focus on school days of the 80s when half of them looked like children of the 70s! (or before that if you include Vic Reeves)

It would be more suited to an 11pm slot.

You were right - it was a real change of pace. 8 out of 10 Cats suited the Big Brother sandwich filler slot perfectly!
