Are you obsessed by this programme?
It's a daytime show airing at 2pm, nobody really knows or cares about it's ratings. If it was on at 5pm it'd be a different story

Last night's soap ratings
Coronation Street (7.30pm) - 11.1m, 49%
Coronation Street (8.30pm) - 10.2m, 42%
EastEnders (8.00pm) - 9.2m, 39%
Emmerdale (7.00pm) - 8.6m, 41%
Corrie has managed to beat 11m again, and Emmerdale is also doing well, just 0.6m below EastEnders and with a higher audience share

Ahem, I think your beloved ITV would beg to differ. It's the daytime audience that boosts a channel's share for the entire year. It's the daytime audience that causes BBC1 to remain Britain's number one channel.
And for that reason, the daytime audience really does matter.
