Slightly OT, but why there still are regional variants for BBC2 on DigiGuide I do not know. There is no 'BBC2 West', it's just England now.

Briefly watching Norweigan TV channel NRK2, they've got an information service on screen with an English language radio station in the background. I believe it's the BBC World Service.

I imagine it's not the name of the channel, but the name of the region you specified on installation / setup.

I'm afraid that's completely false, and irrelevant to the point I was making - sorry to say!

DigiGuide channel names are just that - so if BBC2 for any specific English region does not exist, why include a non-existent channel?

If the naming was as you say, they'd surely have reason to do the same for C4 - but there isn't a 'Channel 4 West' in DigiGuide's lineup - so given that, the inclusion of the BBC Regions for both 1 and 2 evidently suggests they think BBC2 Regions are available in the same way as BBC1 is - but this is not the case.

STV tends to close down around 1am - 2am,

SVT1 goes to SVT 24 now and SVT2 broadcasts a widescreen (since its all DVB-T) version of the Philips PM5544.

Just watched the last few minutes of NRK2, closedown was none existent. Just went from the regional weather (the final news report was for Northern Norway) and then just handed over to their information service with the BBC World Service in the background.

Online. I get NRK1 on TVU and NRK2 from "/www.tvchannelsfree.com". By the way if you look at the TV guide on the NRK Official Website the times are UK Time.

Saw the clock change on the BBC News Channel and on NRK1 both went back with no problem although the BBC News Channel showed their ident twice this was probably to allow the change to happen.
