Late night ITV changes

When they announced Super Casino was ending on Channel 5, they said it was because they were closing their UK office and transferring everything to Malta.

Jackpot 24/7 is continuing at weekends, so I'm guessing this is either temporary, or will continue as a broadcast from Malta.

No gone from weekend schedules now too.

I know we have 21.co.uk but it looks like we are about to get another new roulette show. A few of netplaytv former presenters have been filming with a different roulette company today. They seem to reference it as live roulette but what’s its official name will be I’m not sure. I guess this will be on ITV in the near future so that means through the night shows are temporary.

They ran credits for the final edition of Jackpot247 last night which also acknowledged former recent presenters.

The saddest thing about it is that that set has not changed for about 15 years when Challenge Jackpot used to be a satellite channel only! Maybe even longer than that! It even acknowledges that in the ticker below.

I remember when they used to show Lucky Stars on ITV in the early days. Must be about 10 years ago now!

I'll oddly miss this show. If I was awake late, I'd sometimes watch this- the presenters are brilliant; I hope they all get work elsewhere.

She must've done the same thing as Rylan Clark-Neal - added her husband's surname to her own when she got married.

I was the one who hastily wrote the ticker when I found out Jackpot was finishing last weekend. I believe they had three sets in their time - one when they were owned by Two Way Media, and then two with NetPlay. I think that set launched with Bingo Stars back in 2010 and was refurbished when Challenge Jackpot became Jackpot 247.

It's strange seeing NetPlay pump money into revamping SuperCasino's set every few years, but they never bothered to do anything to Jackpot's, barring a couple of tweaks when the wheels had to be physically located in the studios.

I am a bit sad about Jackpot247 ending on ITV. I use to remember emailing them all the time just for a shoutout. I also rememver they alway brokedown alot which ment we all saw those ITV Sport Classic shows from like 1970s / 80s.

I do think ITV should add more to night time. For example, they could do something like Sporting Highlights for like La Liga or Wrestling or Boxing.

Also looking at the line up and seeing 500 questions does seen strange since that show was awful in it self. (It was basicly ITV's answer to Anne Robinson)
