Saw this in the paper last weekend and thought I'd post now I've seen the ad and website to confirm it.

Basically, 10 men have to complete various challenges while being distracted by 40 lapdancers. One touch and your out.

The numbers will be whittled down to the winner with the regular "Erection Ejection".

And who said reality TV was dead!!!

It's a big spoof to provide a cover for embarrasing auditions to be screened on new E4 show "The Pilot Show

Digital Spy:
Quote:
Lapdance Island, a new E4 reality series where 10 males are stranded with 40 lapdancers on a tropical island, is actually a fake, according to this week's Broadcast.

The programme - which has the catchphrase "you can look but you can't touch" - has been heavily advertised on E4 in the past few weeks, inviting would-be contestants to apply for a spot on the show.

Lapdance Island is actually a fake for new comedy series called The Pilot Show, however, where members of the public put themselves through embarrassing auditions for a chance of getting on TV.

The Pilot Show will begin on E4 in September, premiering terrestrially on Channel 4 shortly afterwards.

OK, let's stop with the reality show genre now, this really is dumbing down... it's got far too silly...

I saw this this on digital spy and thought of that show that was on not so long ago on 4; it was presented by a comedian with glasses and he did mock interviews with them getting them to do stupid stuff!

Yep, and that was produced by Planet 24. Just look where the Lapdance Island website is hosted:

I was thinking that there was something unusual about this show - mainly because if 10 gay people managed to get on, they'd be in a bit of trouble. Confused

I won't say it.

No - too obvious. Embarassed Laughing

Or is that just my overactive, innuendo-ridden mind at work again? Twisted Evil

It's probably a lot cleaner than the vision I've just had....

It's not, actaully. bigbreakfast.channel4.com is just acting as an Alias for channel4.com . For example, http://bigbreakfast.channel4.com/life/ works, http://bigbreakfast.channel4.com/music works, everything that works on the channel4.com domain works on the bigbreakfast.channel4.com domain.

Simple. Smile

You're right, but it's strange that I got that link from another website. It would be interesting to find out why the webmaster of the site I found used the bigbreakfast url.
