Lambie-Nairn website

I just stumbled across Lambie Nairn's website at http://www.lambie-nairn.co.uk/

and it has a lot of QT clips. I really like VRT's idents. They also have ITN NC's and they are in widesreen (i don't think the channel is, right?)

Oh, and incidently, does anyone know if you can 'grab' the files from the website and download them to your disk? Right now the QT movies are in an HTML window, if you know what i mean.

They also have a bunch of BBC News stuff and BBC One idents without any voicover! It's a great website!

All the UK TV Idents are widescreen, so maybe they are gearing up to a switch to widescreen!!!!

so are the ITN NC, the BBC stuff

Has anyone figured out how to directly download this stuff to your computer?

click on the button on the bottom-right of the quicktime controls, and click 'plugin settings' from the choices click the one saying cache something or other.

This way the video will be saved to your temporary internet files folder, and you just search in that folder, then copy the videos to another folder!

Is there any sound? I can't hear anything!

I figured out how to download the movies!  (it works on my mac at least) just type in below

194.112.42.217/uploads/media/mov/(type in specific title)

for VRT material:

On my mac they download directly to my harddisk.  I think on Windows PCs though they'll download to a new browser window.  


example: If you wanted the BBC News movie, you would type:
