I do like TKF tho - think its a good show, I particuarly like the outdoor physical round - id love to do that!

But not on camera!

Agreed, I wouldn't want anyone watching me waddle my way around the course. Laughing

The cold water tank seems horrendous! The extreme cold causes everyone to gasp as their airways narrow by reflex, in one case causing a full bronchospasm.

Yeah I think id struggle with the cold water, I don't deal with the cold well at the best of times! But id like to do the course just for the experience.

I presume the assault course is filmed on the warmer days where you'd be glad to get in some cooler water. Get in one of those on a cold enough day though and you will almost certainly get hypothermia.

Of course you don't need to get submerged in a freezing cold tank to experience a bronchospasm - the same effect can be "achieved" for want of a better word if you are unfortunate enough to have an asthma attack.

Need to do some mega training before I attempted that course anyway. Yeah good point about the water.

I think id struggle with the observation round - ive never been the observant one - id hope the clip was from Corrie lol! But everyone seems to do poor in that round, often people get minus scores.

I went to tonight's edition of the krypton factor (semi final 1) and they did actually film the audience in some shots.

James O'Driscoll reminds me of a forum member but I can't think who.

Yes, and featured them so frequently that it basically confirmed that there was no audience for the heats and it was all dubbed on. I don't really think we need to watch the contestants' dads grimacing during the General Knowledge round.

I'd also like to take issue with the most pedantic question of all time, where in the Observation round, when the question was "What were Bet's last three words?", the answer "You alright, Rita?" was not accepted because it was "All right, Rita?", as "all right" is two words, not one. For heaven's sake.

They were harsh on a couple of questions like that this week, but when asked I think for colour of the tram accepted something like white and green when the answer they had was cream and green. Completely unfair to in one instance allow such an answer, but then be pedantic on others.

Perhaps what they were fussy about was that there was no "You" in Bet's last three words.

Some valid comments I think guys.

I'd prefer a return to the Observation rounds of yesteryear, where a standard set of questions for all the contestants are answered via keypad. Not only much fairer, but in some ways a better spectacle, as all contestants are involved in answering all the questions.

That said, will we get a third series? Ratings had been falling week on week.

Anyone got a ratings figure for Krypton Factor on Tuesday 23rd Feb?

Actually, "You alright Rita?" wasn't accepted as the quote was "It's alright Rita.". The difference between cream and white, however, is burger all, especially as in some shots the tram looks white and green anyway.
