I was thinking of Sundays too, maybe before Dancing On Ice?
Does anybody know the length of the episodes, it may have been 30 minutes for the previous series, but could it be lengthened to 60 minutes with longer between the rounds and a couple more rounds added?

Going OT, but chances are it'll air on Sundays instead of Wednesdays when there is football.

As promised, I went on Sunday, and here is my view on things.
First things first, the art of noise theme is disappointingly no more, it is an orchestral piece. Nice theme, but just not the same. Also, the rearrangement of the K for the start of each round remains, which is good. Ben Shepherd was good, especially stood next to a massive K in the studio. Had a decent rapport, but was mostly peripheral, as I will explain later. All points calculated as a krypton factor of 10, 6, 4, and 2 as previous.
Studio: Well, what a place, managed to sneak a photo, absolutely amazing as you can see. The back part rises for the observation round.

Mental Agility: The Kube is the location for this (activate the Kube!) The contestants heartbeat can be heard throughout. Similar to previous series, this time there were 4/5 shapes with different colours and they were asked questioned such as '1st colour, 3rd shape' etc, but with a female voice asking the question which the contestant requested after seeing the shapes. Tough start!
Observation: Just a clip from a TV series, and asking questions based on this. Contestants turn to face huge plasmas behind, after the studio rises.
Intelligence: Well, what can i say, it took them 30 mins to reset the studio (while we took part in a quiz from the warm up man) as you can just about see in the photo.

Checking the UK Game Shows website, they state it took over an hour for some of these to be completed, and in time-honoured krypton factor tradition, this was no different. 1st 2 were complete in 10 minutes, but the final 2 took 45 mins, and were eventually stopped by Ben, with 3rd place judged to be the person closest. I'm not surprised, it was phenomenally difficult, certainly no dumbing down here!
Assault Course: What an unbelievably tough course! A full army assault course, starting with a 40ft climb of a tree up to a zip wire. Bit of comic relief from the lad who finished last and looked like he needed hospital attention by the end, some of his comments were brilliant, Harry Hill might even take notice! Even the commentator was amusing, especially when stating the bleeding obvious!
General Knowledge: Down to 60 seconds, but the same pattern as previous series, as questions are linked to previous answers, all with a huge scoreboard behind. It was really the only time Ben had to do anything other than read the scores out, apart from his brief interviews with contestants leaving the Kube.
All in all, pretty good return, it's still as tough as ever, and no mention of a monetary prize either. Jazzed up studio, but it seems to work. Fingers crossed it will be a ratings winner, it deserves to be.
