I'm sensing another rubbish dramatic theme tune to that logo - US style.

If they have any sense at all, they would never do that.

Which means they'll do it! Razz

To be serious though, I'd be happy if they just give a 'nod and a wink' to the original in the music and look.

Nobody expects them to just re-use the Art Of Noise piece, but for them to go in the other direction with something completely different would be shame - there's only so many times shows can emulate the 'tense' style of Millionaire or Weakest Link before it gets a wee bit tedious.

Very nice, although I'm guessing the titles are by the same company who did Goldenballs..

Golden Balls graphics were done by 'Saint', although I think Endemol UK have a major shareholding in the company as pretty much every new show recently has been done by them. The new Krypton Factor (by the way is it me, or should the top arm of the 'K' be coloured red in a wink to the last logo?) graphic design even from the screenshot, looks a Jump production.

I don't really got the comparison - the new Krypton Factor looks pretty classy compared to the trash that is Golden Balls.

Anymore suggestions on the slot yet - I'm guessing it'll take the regional slot on Thursday nights.

If as mentioned earlier the studio bits are to be shot at Quay St then surely the main man Gordon Burns can reprise his role as presenter?

He looks younger than his years and is synonymous with the show. Why not?

Wasn't Mark Austin one of the favourites to present?

ITV should choose someone who is not on every single programme going. Why not go for someone who is never on television?
Contenders such as Russ Abbot, Alastair Burnet, Matthew Kelly, Julia Somerville, Martyn Lewis, Anne Lechuars, Angela Rippon etc.

If Burns wants it, it should be his job.

When it was rumoured a couple of years ago of a BBC revival for Krypton, I'm sure Gordon said he wasn't really interested in presenting.

As great as a presenter Gordon Burns is they do need someone a bit younger, he's about 63 now and if you watch North West Tonight his voice is getting tired at times.
