Saw this last night, kept me watching for the full 30mins a refreshing change for the itv1 schedule.

I thought the Assault Course tonight was filmed better slightly. Also, they showed the clocks at several points through the course with a split second reading to show how the contestants were along the course against each other - which I don't think they did last week.

All in all, another fine programme tonight! Very Happy Hopefully, with even more viewing figures than last week as EE is so miserable at the moment!

Much better camerawork and feel to it than last week. I thought that Mental Agility test was rather easy though, I got virtually all of them right...

Am I right in saying that they just rain trailers during the ad break? Are ITV really that short of advertisers?!

That's right... they did it last week as well.

It's all they ever do in the Thursday 7.30pm slot - ITV are restricted to 40 minutes of ads in peak time, so traditionally it's been of greater benefit to them to air them in other slots during the evening, rather than during the regional programmes at 7.30pm (similarly with Tonight on Mon/Fri).

I'm sure though if The Krypton Factor gets healthy ratings ads will sneak into the break, unless as part of the deal SAGE don't want other companies being advertised.

It wouldn't surpise me if they did put some ads in. Surely the ratings will be higher than it was for "Locks & Quays"?!? (although I personally was quite a fan!)

Another good episode this week although I have to agree about the editing in the assault course. I was talking to one of the contestants today, and he said that certain obstalces have been edited out totally. He reckons they make it look a lot easier than it is, but then he would say that! Smile His heat is going out next week.

The Krypton Factor got 3.67m viewers in its 2nd week apparently - slightly down on last week Crying or Very sad .

Hopefully, it will bound back next week! It should do!

That's still good considering it's opposite Eastenders, I don't think Tonight gets that sometimes.

At least the 'Classic TV clip' was slightly more classic this week!!! Laughing

Though ITV were foolish to stick on a 'Next ... The Bill' bar running straight over the general knowledge clock!

They did that last week as well and found it really annoying.

I much prefer the old theme.

As for the coming next caption - well ITV are silly to put them on any programme tbh especially when the next programme is promoted over the end titles anyway.
