They might not want him and he might not want to do it.
I bet they'll have Ian Wright or Graham Norton hosting it with Natasha Kaplinsky reading out the questions.
If they did bring it back lets hope they don't modernise it, no doubt there would be a red button interactive feature where viewers at home get to choose who wins or something!

I reckon Gordon will jump at the chance to be honest. He alwsays strikes me as someone who wants to be there to entertain and to be well known. Maybe its time he gave someone else a chance on NWT, like Fiona Trott or Anabell Tiffin.

My chioce is to give the role to Huw Edwards, He does nothing else other than read the news or presenting Pope John Paul III' funrael. Serious personailies should get the role like Huw

The 1995 series was given a Crystal Maze look and it was too virtual, they dropped the assault course and a couple of the other rounds. Plus Penny Smith was added as a co-presenter.

Sorry I've only watched this show a few times on Challenge.
What was different in the 1995 series that apparently 'ruined' it?
Thanks,

I have very foggy memories of it, but didn't they replace the assault course with something in the studio that looked like it belonged on a children's TV game show?

You could say that, that course reminded me of the whole 'Futuristic' section on The Crystal Maze.
Though if this revival gets the go-ahead it should be good, as the Producer also successfully brought back Come Dancing.

No, they didn't drop the assault course (in fact it opened the show) but they did drop the Intelligence test. The second half of the show was given over to The Super Round, a giant test that involves all of the key skills needed to win The Krypton Factor. People could buy "advantages" with the points gained to make tough bits a bit easier, basically.

I interviewed him a year ago for a radio show, and he said if the Krypton Factor came back, he wouldn't present it...of course, he might change his mind.

I remember seeing an episode on Challenge recently where they had to put a map together of all the ITV regions (pre-1993!)
