Anyone know why ITV have pulled Donavon

The continuity announcer said that it was because the content was not appropriate to be shown at this time due to recent events and that it would be shown 'at a later date'

Well, it was only a three parter, ALL three of which were to go out after July 7th, so I'm afraid dear old ratty is within sniffing distance of my nostrils.

The silly thing is that, if they leave part three for more than about a fortnight, we'll all have forgoton the plot from parts one and two and they'll have to repeat those as well as playing out part three.

No, sorry folks, a severe logic failure here, I'm afraid.

Has it occurred to you that the cast member might not be a regular cast member, but someone who only appears in ep 3? The stories are largely self contained, so there are many actors/actresses who only appear in a single episode, which also means it will be completely unnecessary to repeat eps1 and 2. Go for a lie down.

At last! Someone with a sense of reality! The member of the cast involved was due to appear in last nights episode only, and not ep1 and ep2. The person involved was also due to appear on GMTV this morning, but that was scrapped also. Broadcast (this Thursday) has the full story.

Yes, I suppose the idea of mass death may not seem appropriate to ITV; in my guide it says that "a military plane is reported to be carrying a deadly airborne virus that is a rapidly and gruesomely killing the passengers and crew".

Read the thread - it's nothing to do with the plot, it's one of the actors!

Well Mr Harvey it does seem to have been shown, quite a few times in the last fortnight or so, that the poster in question talks out of his arse.
