P.S. Am I the only one who mixes Kirsty Young up with Newsnight's Kirsty Wark?

i tend to agree. anyone remember him getting a 'gotcha oscar' on noel's house party? it was lousy. he took himself way too seriously.

i cant help but mention that he, and other ITN news casters (suchet included, like his brother) started their careers as actors without journalistic training. i have no objection to that whatsoever but you'd think he would know how to take a joke, eh?

I can remember the ITV announcer once introducing a Kirsty Young-presented program as being presented by Kirsty Wark!

I think Sir Trev is alright, but Kirsty is proving to be much better than him on the News at Ten this week.
