According to the Radio Times, Kirsty Young is due to return next week to present the ITV News At Ten (@11pm) on Monday. Tuesday @10pm and Wednesday @11pm (Nick Owen is presenting on Thursday)

They should also get Mark Austin (Survivor on location presenter) to do the news again. I saw him doing it a few weeks back looking very tanned.

Is it me or does Nick Owen present BBC Midlands Today, or is it they both have the same name.
Mr Midlands (Nick Owen) is of Anne and Nick fame and TV-AM, of course.
Whereas Nicholas Owen is of ITN fame.
Anne and Nick used to present Central News East (back when there were only 2 regions) of course Nick's gone full circle back to regional news!

Nick Owen presented the BBC's answer to This Morning in the early 1990s with Anne Diamond. Broadcast from Pebble Mill, Good Morning with Anne & Nick failed to make headway in the ratings battle for the housewives' eyes!
What bulletin will Mary Nightingale switch to when everything settles down ? Also 3 bulletins at 11pm next week, I do hope they are not going to bother to call it ITV News at Ten.

Did ITV have a clause which said they could have the news at eleven o'clock during 'silly season'?!!
Mary will apparently be taking some time out to be with her family and doing weekends and standing in for people. Kirsty will be back at 6.30 if things go as planned.
I think the contract said that they had to show the News at Ten at 10pm on 4 nights a week, and that they were allowed to defer it to 11pm on a certain number of occasions per year, to allow for football etc. This week it just so happens that they are showing 2 at 10pm and 2 at 11pm.

I think you will find they can! I have never really liked Trevor - don't think he is a high calibre journalist and there's just something about him I don't like!
