Can anyone tell me what the following kids TV shows were (late 80s / early 90s):

There was a witch with green hair (or a green face?) who had a sidekick called 'T-shirt'. What the hell was this show, and what was it about. I only rememebr it very vaguely...

The other show was a crocodile who lived in a toilet, which used to freak me out a bit. Anyone remember that one?

Both of these shows I THINK were on CITV, but I'm not completely sure! Sad

The first sounds vaguely like Grotbags, though I'm not entirely sure.

The shows were the T-Bag series and Round the Bend. The latter of which did contain a huge amount of 'toilet' humour which apparently upset Mary Whitehouse.

Anything that upset Mary Whitehouse is good with me Laughing

Well so did Knightmare, until if I recall she admitted never actually having watched the programme.

The lady who played Grotbags keeps turning up on Challenge in an archive episode of Bullseye dated 1984. But she didn't score all that much and kept shouting at poor Tony Green.

The woman with the sidekick called T-Shirt was the show "T-Bag and <insert one of nine variations here>". As for what it was about - evil old hag has magic powers, dependent on cups of tea from T-Shirt. Quite why she couldn't make her own was never really explained.

Round The Bend - apparently this came from the same people who bought us Spitting Image. I wouldn't be surprised if the late Mary Whitehouse didn't like it, seeing as she didn't like Doctor Who, Benny Hill or Knightmare (if only because she was forced onto the back burner with that programme and retracted the remark after actually seeing an episode of Knightmare).

Ah, memories.... Round the Bend, with Wee-man and the Masters of the Looniverse and Thunderpants. Something with some alien invading False Teeth as well, it was all good.
