So, who's left from the old-school entertainment era now Brucie and Doddy have gone? Sadly I think most of the big entertainment names in the style of Forsyth and Dodd have now gone Sad

Did Granada Reports have a special edition?

Roy Hudd's still around as is June Whitfield who's 92, although she's more an actress rather than an entertainer she worked with all the greats of British comedy. Similarly Nicolas Parsons is still around and still working at 94 as is Bernard Cribbins at 89

Did Granada Reports have a special edition?

They mentioned him on Calendar, as apparently he used to be a regular on 321

Another Audience With, showing on ITV now, is widescreen, so doesn’t look dated, although the cast of Brookside in the audience does age it. The London Television Centre was pride of the place in the titles.

I had a feeling this Ken Dodd's Happiness programme had been on before, it dates from 2007 but has been shown repeatedly on BBC Four.

The "Another Audience with Ken Dodd" show apparently dates from 2002.

Calendar’s Facebook page have uploaded a full interview with Dodd by the late Richard Whiteley from 1984.

Indeed - the clips from the programme which were used in the BBC News obit / report had a BBC Four DOG burned into them.

That suggests they were sourced from BBC Redux (which stores off-air transport streams from the BBC's DSat broadcasts) rather than a TX tape or file.
