I wonder if Channel 5 will end up repeating Naked Jungle at some point. In fact, has it ever been repeated since original broadcast?

He said he regretted doing the show after it was broadcast saying it "was the worst career move of my entire life" so I very much doubt it will be shown out of respect for him.

I believe he blocked it being used - well any of it that included him. There was a clips show about it that was reduced to using stills from newspapers and a ropey VHS copy of some of the contestants. Either way I don't think today's Channel 5 would be interested in showing it again, it's a very different network now (indeed it would be within about 18 months of the broadcast of Naked Jungle).

The clip show blamed it on Keith not wanting anyone to see his bits, but in actual fact it was blocked as they were about to release a commercial VHS of it.

The recent Channel 5 clip show 'Most outrageous TV Gameshow moments' from earlier this year still couldn't use any shots of the show that featured Keith as Keith had refused to provide permission.

I think Keith wanted to put it behind him all those years later but he was quite happy to do it and consent to a commercial release at the time.

Cheggers had his own video game as well in the mid 2000s, featuring a CGI Keith hosting a quiz.

And remember Cheggars' Bedroom? He live streamed from his bedroom every day for seven weeks in 2001. Way ahead of its time.

Interesting to note Zoe Ball hasn't mentioned anything about his death, considering they worked together on The BB quite a bit.

Channel 5 showing Greatest Christmas TV Moments Of All Time currently, featuring contributions from Keith Chegwin.

Perhaps a bit soon?

Why too soon? Is there anything disrespectful about showing it? Is he shown in a bad light? Have they shown any embarrasing clips of him? If not, I don't really see the problem. Should we take anything off air which features someone who's recently died?

Defo not too soon. It felt like he was still around when I seen him on tele. That was nice.

Keith's views on Naked Jungle can be seen on this clip of Richard & Judy on This Morning at the 4.46 mark. I suppose his view on it being a bit of harmless fun didn't last all that long.

Yeah, I think it was more a case of him not wanting people to go on and on about it years later.
