I think its a brilliant programme - hilarious!! I'd rather see Prime Time repeats of this instead of Fame Acadamy rubbish.

Keeping Up Appearances was one of my favourite sitcoms of the 1990's and I say lets bring it back even it was just a Christmas Special I would love to see Hyacinth bucket (Bouquet) back again does everyone else agree.

Interesting link - Keeping Up Appearances on home video, can buy Series 1 and 2 for £17.59 off Amazon, a saving of 12%, although I'm not too sure about the "Perfect Partner" its suggesting...
Other videos to buy second hand off the Amazon Marketplace are Here.

This series had great potential, but was very badly written. Each episode was so simlar to the previous one, then the wriitter did write "Last of the Summer Wine
"

I think the show is brilliant, not the funniest thing ever made, but it was good and to be honest they did end it at the right time. Though a one-off episode would be a good idea, but I think it is true that since the show ended two of the cast have passed on, I think they guy who played Emmet died and the woman who played Violet too died. (Not the one who was married to Onslow) I thought the repeat on BBC One the other day was hilarious with the funeral car driving round the block several times.

Actually, I think it was Rose who passed on, not Violet.
Absolute classic TV - Patricia Routledge is a great actress! They should probably make an up-to-date series with new characters - the same mix of old characters can get quite boring at times.

David Griffin is still alive, but Mary Millar (Rose) died several years ago. Rose was recast once during the run, and the original actress is still alive though.
I personally wouldn't want to see it return, just because it's a one joke idea that's already been stretched out to several series. If they were to shake it up and introduce something new, then maybe, but this is Roy Clarke we're talking about... You might as well watch the existing episodes for all the difference he'd bring to the writing of a new series.
