I thought some shots were in Warwickshire too.
That's right, they were - actually, also many of the locations were in Royal Leamington Spa, the Bucket residence was in Binley Woods, Coventry, and Onslow and Daisy's place was in Willenhall, a district of Coventry.
it certainly had a lot of exterior locations for a sit com

a lot of the town shots and the church were filmed in Northampton when I lived there so watching the repeats is extra fun with spotting the locations. The church hall is near my friends, I'll post a photo one day when i fathom out how the hell to do so.

This is one of my favourite comedy's. Apparently they had re-made it in USA.

I know and it completly misses out Northampton
The church hall near my friends was used for all 5 series of the show, I pass it every time I visit them.

Really?
There was a version made in India in 2003 (perhaps still going)....
Kauva Chala Hans Ki Chaal - which literally translates as “The crow who tries to walk like a peacock.”

Well Mary Miller was the second actress to play Rose anyway, so replacing her wouldn't be that strange.

there's an interesting philosophy in there somewhere. if they did an update here they'd need to find another Rose as the actress has died

I always refer to Keeping Up Appearances episodes as ... "oh its the golfing one" or "oh its the one when her and Richard go to look at kitchens.."
I love them but they really need to open up the archive more - i.e. Series 1!
Here's a line for ya... "Whats up with Richard's foot?" "Oh leave him dear, he's got gout!" "I-i-its just athetes foot.."
So British!
