Kay and Simon

Anyone see Key and Simon having a friendly argument on sky News today, what a laugh. Why don't other news channels like 24 be more like this and less stuffy!

What time did that happen and what were they arguing about?

Because BBC CRAP 24 trys to be as bland as possible!

since about 2.30 and on, but mostly at about 2.30, she in in New York and Simon was in London with Juliet, oh what a laugh.

I saw that, it was great! Kay was in New York, just landed off that Concorde flight, and Simon was in the studio. As soon as they mentioned the champagne, Simon said 'you sound like you've had plenty of that' or something similar, to which Kay shouted 'Mind your own business Simon McCoy!'. He then cheekily said after the interview that 'the dragon has landed', to which the sports presenter said he could hear Kay's solicitors in his earpiece or something. Very funny stuff indeed, it was Juliet doing the interview with Kay, but you could hear Simon giggling in the background!

You must have missed John Terret.

Terret is NOT funny. And does he still read the news during the graveyard hours on Radio 2?

It seems that the News 24 presenters are not allowed to laugh too much whilst on air.

Yes, its true! A Sky News thread among all these BBC threads. Anyway, Sky News is great for its banter. I think you need a good laugh - a news channel shouldn't just be about reading the news. That would make it very boring indeed.

Oh wait, I've just described BBC News 24! Anyway whatever happened to two presenters overnight on Sky News just after the election relaunch, that was really good. Shame they got rid of it.
