Sorry - must have got the wrong impression. I thought these forums were all about giving our own opinions. Can't believe I got it so wrong. I'll stick to the party line next time. Fantastic programme that Wine thing. Did so well lasting all those years in the fiercly competitive Sunday afternoon slot.
You have indeed got the wrong impression, Moz. Rather than just spout forth a sarcastic and peevish rant, please stop and think a minute. In highligthing "in your opinion", I'm actually doing the exact opposite of denying you an opinion!
I have never said you can't give your opinion on anything-- when have I said otherwise? What you gave in your previous post was not an opinion. Saying something like"what a load of dreary rubbish" is not giving an opinion, it is stating something as fact/undeniable truth. An opinion, by definition, is personalised.
So if you're going to getting needlessly churlish with me, please at least get the basics of rhetoric right, thanks.
