Did anyone watch the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2010? A live webcast was available on www.junioreurovision.tv for those keen enough to watch it. Last year I had to miss it because my AOL Broadband connection was running too slowly (more like dial-up speed), but this year it was running normally and I was able to watch the live webcast on my PC.

Armenia won. I thought their song wasn't that brilliant really. Russia were in 2nd place, just 1 point behind Armenia. I'd sooner Russia had won as although it wasn't that good either, it was a bit better than Armenia. I would really have liked Latvia to win.

I'm hoping to post a full review in the next few days. Meanwhile, any comments from those who watched the JESC online are most welcome.

No, the last time I watch a whole JESC on TV was in 2006, just because I was on holiday in the Canaries, and the hotel and area was so boring.

I cant be bothered watching a long show, on a very small, low quality stream via the internet.

How fascinating...

Anyway we don't enter anybody for Junior Eurovision now, considering we fell out with the EBU in 2004 over the issue of funding the broadcast and stopped entering the charade two years later. Therefore I fail to see what interest anybody in the UK could possibly have in the contest now.

Are you doing your usual full review of Children in Need this year?
