He's just managed to confuse Norway and Sweden. Ho hum.
Is this going to be permanent, then? This along with the banishing of the letters "BBC" from the channel's regular namechecks?

There's a surprise c@t not liking something on News 24!!!!
Or is it more like that he's not even seen it - nor actually watched N24 for ages - and just automatically says it's rubbish!

Have to say that the 4-7 slot on News 24 was excellent today, just as it should be everyday. Few mistakes about, such as where business had just finished, and they hadn't moved a camera in position for the main 2 pres shot, so they moved the active camera to that position, and you saw Julian doing a hand waving message as the camera moved.

The fact of the matter is - as I have outlined thoroughly in other threads - is that until News 24 make very wide ranging changes to their presenter line-up, there will not be a huge difference in the quality of the channel.
They can introduce their bizarre sounding new studio concept, which again I would be surprised to see work effectively, but until the presenters really show a bit of character and charisma it's going to remain interminably dull.

That is very true indeed - there are the odd glimers of hope from News 24 - such as Jane Hill, Mawhinney and Phillip Hayton - but most of them are pretty awful. Presentation, presenters and the way news is covered all need to be changed before it can be a successful "rolling" news channel.
News 24 is quite similar to the Tory party!.
