Just got the TV on behind me after Doctor Who. Is anyone else here cringing at his presenting talent? In other words he has none! He is telling really awful jokes inbetween each question, and the scripted parts he is blurting out like a Dalek! (Sorry, got Doctor Who on my mind)

To be honest I find some of his jokes inappropiate for evening prime time television. I heard his first joke 'please sit down so I can come over and tickle you' (or very similar) and turned it off. He said stuff like that last week - 'did you get that right audience? If not I'll have to come over and slap you on the legs'. I find it inappropiate and (not being sexist in anyway whatsoever) uncomfortable hence why I stopped watching.

Personally, I find him vile.

I've been in Guildford for a large part of today and I kept seeing pictures of him at the side of the road!

Trouble with Julian Clary is he is not suited to primetime television. The BBC have obviously lost some deal with Dale Winton and are trying to use him as a substitute - bad move.

I can't for the life of me figure out which particular audience likes JC. I'm gay, so surely I should, but I think he's vile, as do my bitches. Straight men find him equally repulsive, he's unsuitable for a family audience, and women just don't get him. Why do the BBC insist on filling our TV screens with such inappropriate and unentertaining "stars"? See also: Kaplinsky, Winton.

Those gay jokes he does as well just aren't funny either.

His downward fall started when he suggested Norman Lamont gets a good fisting (or words to that effect) during the 1993 Comedy Awards.

I don't see why there was such outrage at that. I actually thought the punchline, "Talk about a red box", was very funny - and I've never considered myself a huge fan of Julian Clary. There's a lot of comedy around which is much more offensive.

Obviously, you are talking about Julian like he is SUPPOSED to be a comedian!

Oh my god, I'm sticking up for a sad-minded puff!

There is no need for your homophobic remark.
