Apologies - here is a link to the tweet:

I wonder if this means a second series is in the pipeline. It seems to have had a hugely positive reaction on Twitter, from what I've seen.

Personally I thought Judge Rinder had it in the bag from episode 1.

With the Rinder format, they can either have it on in the 2-3 slot for most of the year or give Jeremy Kyle a break from time to time instead of repeating shows almost all year round.

It's not surprising really, I know he's as camp as a row of tents ( I don't hold that against him at all btw!) and yes it's cringey at times, but it is highly addictive for some reason.

Thankfully it's nothing at all like the shambles that was The People's Court UK. I do think there could be more interaction with the 'Bailiff aka Michelle' at times...

Advert now running asking for cases in series two of Judge Rinder.

I'm not surprised, as we've never really had a decent courtroom-style programme on UK TV so the novelty of it hasn't worn off like in the States. I think the basic formula of Rinder works well, just a bit of tweaking is needed to help the programme flow better and not feel dragged-out.

I like the fact Rinder isn't as tight as the Judy format. With Judy, you feel they've edited it down to the bare minimum of evidence, keeping in the quips from Judy so they can squeeze in the numerous ads on US TV.

I'm really enjoying Judge Rinder but I hope it doesn't become a victim of it's own success (please no celebrity specials!)

I've got to agree about Judge Rinder. I was HIGHLY cynical about this when they first started showing Promo's asking for guest's. I thought it would be utter rubbish but actually, i'm REALLY enjoying it! I also love the fact that it does have some comedic value. Hat's off to ITV!

I must be the only one that *shivers* with disgust at Judge Rinder. Laughing Utter cringeball and all time low to daytime tv.

I thought it looked terrible before I watched it, and it's not all that bad...

I wasn't sold straight away but after my partner starting to series link it, it's become one of the programmes that I watch regularly and enjoy. There are cringing moments, especially the scenes 'outside the courtroom' but most of the time it's good viewing and much preferred over Jeremy Kyle by myself.
