Unfortunately, they're wheeling out repeats of Bergerac in the Country for the millionth time for the 9-11pm slot.

Is that suspended as punishment, or suspended pending investigation?

He'll have the Comedy Awards on ITV1 soon anyway - though I'm sure the Daily Mail will kick up a fuss about it, and I'm surprised they're not trying to get Ponderland on C4 scrapped too, which ironically is followed by Fonejacker from next week.

As punishment I think, this has just gone beyond a joke.

I feel like I'm being punished as a consumer of BBC products.

BBC DG: "Ross should view this as a final warning"

His every word at the BBC will no doubt be monitored and scrutinized now. Maybe it'd be better for him if he just resigned and took the show to a channel with a backbone where he'd be under less pressure.

Uh... no. ROSS is suspended.

Brand has resigned.

As ludicrous as his salary is, he's effectively being fined £1m-£1.5m for such a trivial thing.

No, I'm really angry about this.
