Depends really, those who are fans of his will certainly come back but the casual listeners may not bothered although the "I'll never listen to Radio 2" brigade will listen again to see if he slips up again

I agree. Personally I wasn't a big fan of Ross even before all this Sachs scandal. His show was getting far too much about him and his ego and him showing off was getting totally boring.
I think when he returns he'll be exactly the same although I can imagine he'll blame the papers and think it would create amusement if he opened his show with his mouth taped up.
I'm not exactly a 'fan' - I'll watch his TV show or listen to his radio programme depending on who the guests are.
I think that he'll settle back into things quite quickly, there's very few people who really care about what happened, certainly not his peers or the people who want to appear on his shows. I don't think most of the viewing public care
I'm a huge fan of Jonathon Ross. When i tune in to his show i expect him to be cheeky that's what i love about him. However i don't condone what he and Russell Brand did that was going to far .But i like many of his fans won't be holding it against him .
The show has been recorded and his opening line - "So, where were we?". He then did a monologue about bush/obama before ending with a something resembling a sincere apology where he acknowledged he was in a privileged position and would be more "aware" from now on.
