The desk looks really cheap. Looks like its gonna tip over!

Just looks like they built the new set then remembered they needed a desk and sofa so just got the first they could find in a skip.

Was expecting something awful, when I read the comments before the images would load on my phone.

I actually don't think desk and sofa are bad. I like the rest of the set not really sure why they needed a new set though. Guess it was done for spacial reasons the theme of all the set is all the same.

Did they have the same titles?

The guest entrance looks more like the BBC set now. I thought the 'tunnel' (or whatever it was) they had previously was pretty cool.

Although the layout of the set is less like it was on the BBC.

Just catching up on ITV Player, and it seems the backdrop also has non-London landmarks now. Although I can only make out the Selfridges building in Birmingham and the Angel of the North.

They did. But, the break stings are a bit shorter now.

The new city backdrop also contains Portsmouth's Spinnaker Tower Very Happy

The thing I don't get about the new set is, why? The old set looked just as good as the day it debuted. Not only does the set being flipped make me feel like I'm watching the reflection in a mirror, the whole thing just looks cheap and tacky.

As I said it's probably to do with the need for extra space, they do a lot more things in the studio than they used to.

I think the old set looked good when it's launched, but this seems like an upgrade to me it looks a lot sharper now.

That's just silly, and probably more a personal problem than one the whole nation will be suffering from.

My only problem is they could do with the plasma screens on the wall being larger, especially if they are going to cut back the green room as much as they did last night.
