The Jonathan Ross Show

Right, now this is odd. I was talking to someone at ITV who said that Jonathan Ross was being recorded last Thursday at TLS - it was particularly busy because it was the first week it had been on the same night as Graham Norton. Would they really have recorded an episode, struck the set, and brought it to TVC for a second recording, only to keep the first in the bag for transmission later in the series?


It's the BBC's (rather elderly) studio booking and staff scheduling system.

I seen on Saturday night that Lee Evans decided to paint the set pink and green so does this mean/suggest of a new set when the show comes back in October?

It's a very simple set from a constructional point of view and there isn't actually much to it. It's also very tatty, so perhaps a new set will be making an appearance in due course.

It's meant to be having a run up till Christmas and then he'll be moving onto new projects. So I doubt they'll bother with a new set.
