The Jonathan Ross Show

Does anyone know where this is filmed? I know it's The London Studios, but which studio? Does it have a live audience? As I think it looks like it could be studio 5. It's looks quite similar to the 2009 GMTV set/ studio layout.

Usually in the London Studios but yesterday's was recorded at BBC Television Centre.

The Jonathan Ross set wouldn't fit into the old GMTV studio and besides it has a live audience and it recorded in the main studio at The London Studios. This weeks was indeed record at Television Centre (not sure why though).

I assume TC1 at TVC as it is a very similar size?

Perhaps the return of Saturday Night Takeaway? I don't know what the turnaround normally is but with Jonathan Ross recording on Thursdays usually it might have been a bit quick to get Takeaway in and give adequate rehearsal/prerecord time before the show.

Could be? But they normally get the sets down pretty quick, I've been to several recordings and as soon as it's over the set team move in and start taking it down. Plus they probably work over night for a quick turnaround.

As it was the first in the new series, they'd probably want the new Takeaway set in place a few days before hand, so they can rehearse extensively?

Probably, this weeks JR show was recorded on Friday too. I think he normally records on Thursday

TC1 seems to have been block-booked for Let's Dance right up until Comic Relief. Jonathan Ross was in TC4, though according to Lynx*, used an OB truck.

* for those of you who know what it is, apparently it's being switched off soon.

Are the rest of us not allowed to ask?
