All 2000 episodes being streamed at thedailyshow.com/monthofzen. Currently showing the 2000 election coverage. Might be of interest to some.

Working in the UK, unless a certain Smart DNS service is now allowing me to watch?

It's available worldwide. Viacom are being uncharacteristically lax.

Amusing to see they were using the 1999 ITV News theme for the 'Breaking News' sketches!

Hmmm, nope. It's geo-blocked. I'd use something like Hola to watch it, but that's essentially malware.

I think that was also the same ITV News theme that was used for the radio news bulletins in Saints Row 2.

Unfortunately it appears to have been geo-blocked earlier today. Luckily I copied down the direct stream URL for iOS devices. This works on an iPhone or iPad, or through QuickTime Player (and presumably Safari) on OS X. Doesn't seem to work in VLC.

For those of us with not running crappy Apple junk, are there any stream URL's for superior technology?

I watch it in my browser by using an extension called 'Modify Headers'. An icon should be added to your toolbar, click on it to open and then follow these instructions:

1. Under 'Select Action', choose 'Add'
2. Enter 'X-Forwarded-For' under header name
3. Enter '12.13.14.15' under header value
4. Click 'Add', and then if it isn't already running, click 'Start' in the top left

It should look something like this:

This method works for watching videos on all Viacom sites.
