Well the user who out that, if you look at his other contributions on wikipedia, might be a tvforumer... He has contributed to many journalists' pages. And also some strange ones.

what an evil little toss pot, stick up a post in wykpedia saying that they are a dead illegitimate female sex organ and see how they like it Evil or Very Mad

I hope wykpedia bans them because that's what they deserve for posting such info

The moral of the story is that you don't get news from Wikipedia.

Well i'm sure they probably will ban the user if it carries on, but it isn't 'up to' Wikipedia to check or verify details. The whole idea is that if you see something incorrect there, you can change it - if a fact has stayed on a frequently viewed page over many edits, chances are it is probably correct.

I made an edit on their page about keeping up appearances being filmed in Northampton and it got removed (3 times Mad )

I only watched them film the dam scenes in the town centre on Sunday mornings for five series so what the heck do I know Rolling Eyes

anyway they should ban people who put up libellous things about famous people being dead , that's just Twisted Evil

Surely either this thread (whose title is wholly inappropriate/inaccurate) needs locking or deleting - why are we giving the time of day to such mindless twaddle?

Wikipedia is a joke - end of.

At the bottom of the page, it currently says:

"John is appearing on the ITV show ITV News, his reading partner is Lucy Owen"

From Wikipedia:
"John Bardon - BREAKING NEWS - JOHN BARDON LOOSES THE ASHES TO ITV NEWS"

What's all that about? Some people need to get a life!

EDIT: I agree with 'Skytower' - this thread needs closing down - and Wikipedia needs to take greater control over what some t*ssers write.

Well hopefully action should be taken about it shortly on Wikipedia. I've added the page to requests for page protection.

And it now seems to be done.
