I know it's listed in the Radio Times next week but....

I have it on good authority that the final Jobfinder will be shown on Yorkshire on Sunday night/Monday morning. The end of an era for YTV surely!

ahhh the nights spent looking at central job finder all them years ago. what is the point of relpacing it with pointless nightscreen!?

The almost god-like use of a Powerpoint slideshow running on a 256 colour screen to guide you through to the Early Morning News?

Im surprised its lasted this long on Yorkshire. How come they are the only region that shows it?

How that works I don't know

More cutbacks at Kirkstall Road, less use of the Soccer Night set... and less regional variations to put in on TV listings magazines.

Nightscreen is only on in the other regions from 5:00 to 5:30 because Jobfinder is on in Yorkshire. Maybe they'll replace it with an extra half hour of The Mint?

are you sure? i would have thought there'd have been a more compelling reason to continue funding the production of nightscreen other then the fact one region opts out. i was under the impression nightscreen counted towards a quota of subtitled programmes or something?

Yes and HTV Wales used to show it at one point as well - but im wondering why Yorkshire is the only region to still show it

probably because htv and central have had their workforces vastly reduced, whilst yorkshire is still a big production centre?
