I haven't been watching Sky News for a while, but this morning I saw Central News's Joanne Malin presenting alongside Allan King. Is she new to Sky News or has she been there a while?

Yes I saw Joanne on Sky News yesterday. I have never seen her on sky news before. She is on now with Allan King again!
Joanne was presenting on the night of the bomb explosion in Birmingham, that was the first time I saw her.
It's interesting really, you'd expect to see regional ITV presenters on the ITN News Channel, not on Sky News. Especially when you consider the bidding war that ITN and Sky have just been going through you'd expect all ITV franchise holders to be loyal to ITN... yeah right.
Joanne has been quite impressive IMO, must be quite a change going from presenting to about 8 million people to 80 million in just one day!
I wonder if Joanne has left Central News completely?
She is a good presenter, but I will miss her on Central News - then again I will be able to see her on Sky News. Obviously she has good sense and has decided to work for the best news channel around. :

Joanne's gone from Central News West. I suppose that national news is always better to be seen on than regional. She'd been at Central for a few years.
Just wait until your Central News West bulletins are presented by ex-Central News East reporter, Jonathan Ray...

That's a bit careless is'nt it..?
I mean Central News has just spent all that money on a new opening sequence with Jo looking all smug and sexy at the same time, and then she disappears to suck on the Murdoch shilling.
Huh.

Joanne Malin absolutely hasn't left Central News. Apparently she got clearance at the highest level to work for Sky News now and again.......Wasn't she good, though?

She was good, but she's not as sexy as Marie, Sarah, Annabel, Carrie and Lisa. The list goes on..!
Luckily I live on an overlap area of CN West and CN East (Cov.), so I could see Jo more often if I wanted.
I would like to say that Joanne Malin may be good, but my favourite presenter is Jonathan Ray. Kind of a 'Pop' idol, but a 'Central News' idol, I suppose.
