Oh. here we go again! The high shot is just to give you an overview of whats happening, so you can see whats happening!

Don't post such pointless comments - What's wrong with having an establishing shot? Stop looking for PETTY argument starters.

This isn't a BBC-Sky thing. The cost of a cameraman to stand high above the Old Bailey & the costs to rent the space for him to stand etc is a waste of money to capture a shot that shows nothing.

BBC though are the only station to actually have a reporter in Gowan Avenue outside Dando's home. You would think they all would. We will probably see that happen later. Not all the stations have the resources to dedicate to waiting around for a verdict. A shot from above Gowan Av would be useful to show the exact geography.

I wonder if BBC will show a special documentary tonight on the verdict or whether they'll just use Newsnight.

I can reveal that ITV's Tonight with Trevor MacDonald will carry a 1 hour special on the verdict with the key points in the case acted out.

Going back to that screenshot: was it actually part of a breaking news bulletin on Sky One, or just a caption which pointed out that Sky News/Active had breaking news? If it was actually a bulletin, how was it presented?

The revalance of the comment made about the camera shot is that [B]this is a forum.

Defintion of forum: a place, group or situation in which people exchange ideas & discuss issues

AS shown, forums are used to offer views on a subject. This is a view on the presentation/coverage of an event.

If everyone shared the same views, it would be a forum for ideas & views.

It should be if SkyNews carries on about camera shots

Camera shots are part of the presentation of the coverage.

Do it really matter which exact forum something is in. It's only a forum & place for lively discussion . There's no need to treat everything so seriously. That sort of thing, is for work!
