It already looked cheap during Vine's era when he sat at a CSO.

When was it shot CSO? I don't recall Jeremy ever presenting the show in that way. It was always PSC links around the Broadcast Centre or New Broadcasting House whenever I saw it. I don't think I ever saw Jeremy presenting with a keyed-in background?

I'm hopeful under the new format (however it will work) it will give less airtime to ridiculous suggestions from viewers that should be shot down rather than "good point Mr Bloggs from Crawley" (much like Vine's R2 show).

A fantastic suggestion from a viewer the other week was to "use the old BBC Three frequency for World Cup games", so that they didn't have to be shown on BBC One.

Rolling Eyes

They do realise CBBC makes that impossible,

You can't reasonably expect non technical, non broadcast people to realise that to be fair.

It's literally me that did those links! And no, never CSO. Expect once when we tried some nice primes and it ended up "looking" like CSO but f1.2 will do that...

At least Steph McGovern had some elocution lessons which allowed her to keep her Tessside accent while sounding acceptable.

Oh, here we go with accents again... Rolling Eyes

No-one complained about Paul Daniels' own Teesside accent, AFAIK.

Paul Daniels' accent was mid-Atlantic, surely?

No idea but most people liked it. Not a lot, but they liked it.

Surely, in homage to the pun ‘The Wright Stuff’ they could’ve named the new programme ‘The Grape Vine’ or something like that

I noticed that the 'contact us' information no longer includes an address to send in letters. I'm surprised that had continued quite so long anyway.

They included the postal address in today's episode.

This week's episode included feedback on the changes to points of view, and the only comments they showed were 2 negative comments about the new voiceover.

It's his brother who does the puns in that family.

Great upload - watch the newsflash at the end, must have been some confusion with continuity as the globe stays on for a long time with repeated promise of a statement from the MoD.
