I think the reason is still exists is precisely because it would be very bad PR to axe it. So it gets a token presence, on Sunday afternoons (if you can keep track of it), for 2 x ten week runs per year.
I'm hopeful under the new format (however it will work) it will give less airtime to ridiculous suggestions from viewers that should be shot down rather than "good point Mr Bloggs from Crawley" (much like Vine's R2 show).

A fantastic suggestion from a viewer the other week was to "use the old BBC Three frequency for World Cup games", so that they didn't have to be shown on BBC One.

A bit of a demeaning comment there. She is very good and deserves to be “shoehorned”.
If you say so. She still has that Radio 1 Newsbeat delivery which isn't suitable for an audience of older people who watch POV.
I don’t accept that. She has a clear delivery that lends itself well to voiceover work.
It's like a marker pen that squeaks on a whiteboard. She has a style of delivery which is fine for a younger demographic (R1/BBC Three), yet anything general grates. At least Steph McGovern had some elocution lessons which allowed her to keep her Tessside accent while sounding acceptable. Her delivery is what I'd expect from a female Kiss FM DJ.

I have no problem with Tina Daheley's style of delivery at all. This voice over approach is quite a refreshing format for the programme. I also quite like the emphasis on more location vox pops.
I noticed that the 'contact us' information no longer includes an address to send in letters. I'm surprised that had continued quite so long anyway.
