The audience for Kyle isn't likely going to BBC One as they're aimed at different audience. I do wonder if Jeremy Vine on Channel 5 may have seen a boost.
OK FOLKS .. huge congrats to @JeremyVineOn5 .. and @StormHuntley for racking up record figures for their terrific @channel5_tv mid-morning show .. highest ever monthlies/weekly and daily shares .. it's a real privilege to work with the whole team and lots of BRILLO panellists 👍 pic.twitter.com/860UlxqP7m
There is a distinct lack of actual numbers there though, could have gone from 100k to 102k
Won't this be like the occasions Piers Morgan tweets to say it's the best viewership GMB has ever had and it turns out they've only gained 0.1% viewer share which they didn't even attract from Breakfast?
The Jeremy Vine show is a half decent show in my opinion. Informative, funny when it wants to be, and the occasional tension between the panellists is likely to appease those to miss the drama of Jeremy Kyle.

The numbers could potentially be much higher than that, and the problem for ITV is that they may have lost viewers which they will never get back, regardless of what they show in the old Jeremy Kyle slot.

It never appears in the Channel 5 top 50 so I assume it does 200-300k daily
I think if it's a choice between Kyle and Vine I'd choose Kyle everytime - and that really is saying something. What is it with celebrities called Jeremy?
