Well, we'd normally have Tenable on... but not when it clashes with Homes Under the Hammer. They need something that doesn't attract the same audience as what the BBC is showing.

A Love Island morning spin-off along the lines of Aftersun would have been perfect for the slot. However they are perhaps looking to avoid any further comparisons between the two shows.

Yeah that’s probably true. Plus, they’ve not exactly had long to put this together... sourcing a studio (could use TV Centre I suppose)/presenters etc. Also, isn’t it an overlap with This Morning/Loose Women in terms of content as they’re very LI heavy.

They would not be able to use Television Centre; once Lorraine finishes at 9:25, TC2 has the Lorraine set removed and the Loose Woman set moved in so that won't be possible. TC3 has static sets for Good Morning Britain and This Morning.

ITV ideally should be commissioning shows for that slot now so they can be ready for the Autumn.

Apparently Cash Trapped is back this summer so if that's at 5pm they could stick Chase re-runs at 9.25.

Surprised they gave it another series if it is returning. It's too fussy and rule based for its own good and to a new viewer can come across rather complicated to get into/follow as opposed to The Chase where you could dip in to the programme at any point and know exactly what's going on.

Me too - I assumed it had been axed but Bothers Bar say two more series are in the can. Clearly commissioned to keep Bradley happy.

The Supermarket Sweep rumours don't go away either - casting calls put out this week for an un-named 90s revival. I think it's pure trash myself but that might be exactly what the slot needs.

But I have read before out of the Chase replacements it’s done the best.

Why not try something like this :

6.00-9.00 : GMB (6/7 with Charlotte and ?, 7/9 with Piers and Susanna - Ben and Kate)
9.00-10.00 : Lorraine
10.00-12.00 : This Morning
12.00-13.00 - Loose Women
and then
13.00 -13.30 : Lunchtime news and regional news
13.30 - 14.00 : IDK

I've always thought they should bring back Lets Do Lunch, which was fronted by Gino & Mel Sykes in 2011/12.

Followed by Tenable, Tipping Point and The Chase in the usual slots. Lorraine moving to weekends in an extended 8:30-10am programme, and an occasional stand-in on This Morning.

It's very unlikely Lorraine would be moved to the weekend as she'd end up leaving ITV. Lorraine does very well in that slot so there's no reason to move it.
