Something dreadful and something bland.
So it’s confirmed then. Don’t think they really had any other choice.
So what will become of Jeremy Kyle’s career? Has his time at ITV come to an end?
And I’d ask what could potentially replace it... but that’s already been a hot topic of conversation.

For the rest of the year probably rotation of various repeats.
Then January maybe the launch of something new.
I wonder if when Horse Racing is on ITV this summer those days will see Loose Women move back to 11.30 with this morning airing 9.25-11.30.

Jeremy Kyle will be fine, he can turn his hand to plenty of other things
I didn’t even mind his go at game show presenting with High Stakes!
ITV have the bigger problem in filling all the various slots that used to show the programme as presumably they won’t be bothering to show repeats now either!
And of course you have to feel sorry for all the hard working production staff many of which will now be without a job! (Unless ITV find other roles for them on other MediaCity productions)

Kyle will return in some form or another, without the lie detectors and sitting down chairing nonsense.
It'll all be about 'facts' and DNA and called Jeremy's Real Stories.

Well certainly not DNA. That'd be madness.
He already does shows like The Kyle Files and I'd assume he'll continue with that in Prime Time.

ITV will be hoping to save Love Island - a scandal on this year's series could end the show if it looks like risking someone's mental health.

I love how ITV scrap TJKS after one incident in fourteen years, but Love Island runs for four years and has two suicides linked to the contestants mental health after leaving the show.

There's a lot of whataboutism going on with Love Island. The show obviously needs to be more careful with casting and aftercare but, regardless of what people might think about it, Love Island is not the "theatre of cruelty" Jeremy Kyle is/was.

It's not been the only incident either.
The bigger issue is that the open season on the show the last few days has brought out a lot of revelations about how the programme is made and the participants treated. The culture of the production of the programme is tarnished
